Video and TV Streaming Stalling!?

If I'm watching TV Catchup, BBCi, ITV player etc, it stalls every few seconds, making it almost impossible to watch, I've tried freeing up memory running C cleaner etc, this has only started happening the last couple of days!

What can be the cause of a 72 Chevy Impala stalling when idle?

I've been working on a 1972 Impala for awhile now. I just put on a new carb and reset the distributor cap after performing some other engine work with my father (not sure what all he did to the engine). Either way, it runs now BUT it will not stay on unless we constantly stay on the accelerator. Once the car idles, she stalls. He isn't sure what is wrong with it, and I have even less of a clue. What could be some causes for an old school car like this to stall when idling? I'd like to get her up and running so I can sell it asap.

Chihuahua Puppy with Parvo?

i bought a 9 week old Chihuahua puppy with the Parvo Virus last week from a woman claiming to live in Merredin, she advertised in the Quokka as staying in Fremantle. i picked the puppy up on wednesday night and the puppy was sick by friday night, we took him to the vet on saturday night and he was diagnosed with the Parvo virus. we had to put him down saturday night as the virus was so far along. the woman said she had sold 5 other chihuahua puppies and she goes by the name of Leanne. has anyone else bought a pup in the last week or 2 from this person? we have been trying to contact her for the last 2 days and she has switched her mobile phone off. we are looking for answers. please help.

Mechanics, do you think I need a new motor/car?

Im thinking the rings are going bad on my car. It is a 2001 Saturn SC2. It has burned oil for a while now, about 2 quarts every 5000 miles. Over the last 6 months it has began to start very hard, and if I don't floor the gas while starting, it will stall. Once it starts I have to keep the RPMs up for a little bit and the exhaust spews out blue smoke. I did a compression test and all four cylinders read at 160, which I think is rather low. My close friend died in Feburary aged just 14. This week, a girl in the year below me started at my school and was telling lies about my friend. I knew her before she started at my school and never liked her anyway due to her bullying my best friend's little sister. She began to say that she was best friends with (Lets call her Katie) and that she was with her when she died, that they were best friends and she swore on her grave that it was her that called the ambulance when the car accient happened. Now this angered me to the extent that made me want to kill her. My horses hair is being rubbed off by his halter?

Relationship problems, help pleasee !!?

So, there are these two guys that I really like. One who I have been talking to for a while now and he's ready to start a relationship, and the other guy is someone that I have always liked since I was younger, we've always had a crush on each other, but he was always to immature, and had a players mentality, never wanting to commit, so I had pretty much given up on him for the time being, but three years have passed since then. So that guy moved away for about a year, but now he's back, and I can tell he has matured a lot and it seems that he's changed his ways. And that's kind of what I've always been waiting for, for him to grow up and commit to someone if he really wants them. And now here he is living back here, and ready to commit to me, and of course I'd be all for it if I didn't have this delima with this other guy. So the other guy, like I said I've been talking to for a while now, and I really like him too, and he's definitely not the player type, he's been ready for a relationship for a while, I'm the one stalling this time. I feel like I could like the other guy a little more though, and maybe its because I've known him for so long. I just feel like whichever I choose, I'm going to miss out, and I know I am, because they both have different qualities. From the start it seemed to take too long to cook a single pizza, but after we reused it this year it doesn't seem to be reaching even the same temperature with the same size fire or by any other method we have tried. It is a bit frustrating because it feels as if the stones on the mouth of the oven, which are not firestone, are reaching a higher temperature than the ones that are firestone. So my question is, Are there any solutions out there for this problem that avoids gutting my oven out. Are there any stones that we should buy to line the oven on top of what we were told were "firestone"? Is there any fire-building method that makes a hotter fire? Do particular wood types produce more heat than others? Does placement of the fire before and during cooking affect the internal temperature and if so what is the best method?

I have a 92 prelude and when i start it up the car rumbles as if it was going to stall out?

Hello! My life long dream has come true- and turned out way better then i ever hoped for. I love horses and live on a dairy farm so there is plenty of room, but my parents are so stubborn! All my life they tell me they are just hay burners, bring in no income like cows and are costly. Well i found out [since we make our own hay] its not THAT expensive. Recently i started getting back into horse lessons and was offered a GREAT deal! An elderly woman had just got brain surgery and was looking for someone to take care of her horse. Her husband has had back surgery and cant ride anymore and hurts to clean the stall. So everything is set up that if i clean the stall 3 times a week, i can ride and groom their beautiful 15 yr old brown and white paint mare whenever i like after i take a few more lessons. It's like owning [more like just caring for] a horse without having to pay for ANYTHING! They pay the vet bills, shots, feed and board, farrier..everything! I've read so many horse care books, learning all i could [and still learning more] just out of fascination and really wanting to know how to care for a horse incase it was possible to ever get one. She's such a beautiful girl and i fell in love with her already. I'll stop ranting now but i'm REALLY excited! I want to take the best care of her as humanly possible =]. Check engine lights on? Take it to autozone or advanced auto parts, they will run diagnostics for free. They will check your battery for free as well.

Especially since it's a Chinese scooter, you really should take the time to learn about this machine. Find the importer and start asking questions. Questions are cheap. If it's a 150cc, it should be able to do 60mph. If it idles at 2400rpm, it will be very difficult to start, so it needs a tuneup of some kind. Try to locate a service manual.

So, there are these two guys that I really like. My car stalls when stopping after driving it for 30+ miles?

Experience with putting a cast on a horse?

I worked for a vet for four years and only ever saw one horse with a cast on. It was a young thoroughbred colt that was born with retracted tendons. He had surgery to correct the retracted tendon on one of his front legs and had a cast on it. He was unable to bend his knee, therefore was unable to walk on his own. There was staff with him around the clock to feed him milk out of a bucket, lift him to his feet and walk him around the barn aisle for exercise. He could walk with his other legs okay, but we had to loop a lead rope around the leg in the cast and pull it out to the side and place it in front of him with every stride. He then needed help laying back down. He needed tended to every two hours and we had to flip him over ever so often to make sure he wasn't always laying on the same side. Little Philip never "messed up" his cast. It was applied at the clinic immediately following his surgery but I imagine the vet could bring the supplies to your farm instead of having you trailer an injured horse. However, if you can afford it, you may want to trailer him in and let him stay with the vet for a while if it's an injury that severe and if he is as high maintenance with a cast on as Philip was. It was hard enough to care for him with a full staff of veterinary employees. I can't imagine trying to care for him on my own. But you have to keep in mind that every case is different. Just listen to your vet's recommendations, follow their instructions, and hope for a fast recovery!

Does central locking work if battery is flat?

I've got an 04 ford fiesta. Been running fine. Drove home from work no problems. Got out for about half hour. Jumped back in with my kids. Went to start car and it stalled, I think my son in front was playing with hear stick and I didn't notice he had left it in hear for me. Back into neutral turned key nothing! Couple dash lights came on and flashed and instead of the engine starting there was a clicking noise, a bit like an indicator. My partner topped up all the waters and battery. I'm a 16 year old female who lost my father to Leukemia almost two years ago. Ever since then, I've been having noticeably different emotions. I get easily angered and cry over almost anything. I also see a psychiatrist and am on 150 milligrams of Zoloft, which also does not seem to be working, and he too denies my request to try a different medicine or higher dosage. To make things worse, my only friend, who is also my boyfriend, is now thousands of miles away to visit his father, and does not wish to talk to me, much less listen to what I have to say. We have been dating and bestfriends for almost three years now, and I do believe my mental state has jeopardized us from becoming closer, and in fact, is most likely making me lose him. I feel helpless and hopeless, and sometimes I take my prescription pain pills from surgery to ease the pain and escape reality. I also try to over-dose on my Zoloft or Tylenol in order to maybe pass out, since I am unable to sleep at all anymore. Although I may have problems, I'm not stupid and I know what I'm doing is wrong and I do understand I need help desperately. I want to check myself into a mental hospital, but I don't want to leave my Mom behind and hurt her. She is taking the loss of my Dad pretty hard too. How to disinflate a helium balloon to reuse it?

Is the balloon a latex or Mylar one. If it is the Mylar (plastic like and shiny) then you can insert a strong plastic straw into the opening until it is about an 1 1/2 inches past the wide area, and this will let the helium out. If it is the latex kind then you would need to very carefully undo the knot. You would need to be sure that you do not make any kind of holes in it. I have never tried to undo the knot on a latex balloon, but I have been able to deflate a Mylar one. Good luck.

Why would there be gasoline in the intake of my 3100sfi lumina 1998?

Ok.. Basicaly it sounds like the gas which should be vaporised is pooling in the intake. Its likely getting in because its not getting burned. I have seen this with both fuel and oil. The smog equipment on the car recirculates a percentage of exhause and crankcase vapors. Unless those misfires are caused by a bad spark plug or wire this will not be a cheap fix.

Had car repaired 2 times spent 2300 and car still is having problems?

My car stalls when at a stop light or when turning.The Car hesitates on the highway at 55-65 mph. The check Engine light is on. Drove through puddle, car behaving strangely?

I drove through a puddle today, wasnt too deep, just enough to slow it down. But then going around a roundabout straight after it was a little sluggish getting around in 3rd gear. Then i parked at the shops and left the stereo on as y sister went and got something. It started fine. then going up a hill just after it lost all power in 3rd and 2nd, no revs at all, so had to go up in 1st. i then stopped and i was idling just under its normal idle rev count and was shaking like it does when it is about to stall, havent tried to start it for a few hours. it is still raining, will it be ok to get home? and will i be ok in general? does it just need to dry out? rev it out next time i start?

Toyota Camry stalling issue?

I have a 1993, 4 cylinder, automatic, toyota camry. recently I had a friend of mine replace the head gasket because it blew. Since then the only trouble I've been having with the car is that it stalls after I floor it (if I have to get up to speed quickly, not necessarily putting the pedal all the way down). After i floor it it will start jumping, like it's out of gas, when I take my foot off the gas pedal. Once I stop or have to slow down the RPM's just drop and the car stalls. I can't get it to start in neutral after this, so I have to stop the car and turn it off then back on, then it will run fine again. If i let the car slowly get up to speed instead of flooring it, it won't stall. I've checked the vacuum hoses and they seem fine. What could be causing this?

97 Dodge neon fuel filter or pump issue?

I suggest since that fuel filter hasn't more then likely been changed in awhile try changing it and testing the fuel pressure at the pump and the fuel rail.What could be happening is the fuel filter is dried up inside and at idle there isn't enough fuel pressure to keep it idling and when driving it at higher speeds it runs okay.

Why are my inlaws so filthy?

My common law husband's parents are the most filthiest people I have ever met in my life. They DO NOT like to bathe, and it isn't because they are old. I was told by a relative that they have never liked to bathe. They will not use the A/C in their house, and they have roaches crawling everywhere in the house, even over the eating utensils. My father in law even had roaches laying eggs on his skin. I can't believe their doctors hasn't noticed the smell. My husband has tried everything, including building them a walk-in shower stall, with handle bars, but it has boxes stored in it. They won't use it. I think it is time for human services to get involved. I just don't know what would happen if a case worker visited. Would they take them out of their filthy environment? None of my husband's brothers give a care. One of them even lives there, and doesn't bathe either. I am at my wit's end with these people!

Lawnmower keeps stalling, Why? (more info below...)?

It periodically stalls after running well for awhile; if I tilt it forward or bounce it up and down, when it starts acting up, it will rev up again. Sometimes it keeps running, sometimes it dies again. After it dies it won't start until I take off the gas cap and blow into the tank. It then runs ok until the next time. This is a 8 year old Sears 6 Hp "one pull start" mower. I've replaced the carb and cleaned out the fuel tank and lines but that didn't help. Out of ideas; has anybody else had this problem?

An auto parts store employee tested the battery, alternator, and starter, all were fine. Usually it stalls after a brief stop at a sign, etc. Then when I try to start it, it makes a sound as if it is starting then it dies. Not the typical struggling starter cranking sound but more of a woosh.

Cedar Pine bedding? ok for horses?

I have a bag of Cedar pine bedding, like for small animals and was wondering if it is ok for horses? i was just going to put it in the stall as a "bottom" layer for the horse and put regular pine shavings on top of it.

How long can previously cooking oil (clear cooking oil) be kept unrefregerated and safely reused.?

I have a large cooker which holds about 12- 15 gallons and I cook for large groupes about every 3-4 months. I want to drain, strain and store my oil for more than one use. (about $50 worth of oil). Can I safely use it after having stored it for 2-3 months in a non refeigerated enviroment?

Training a lazy horse !?

The reason your horse is ethusiastic on trails is because he has a purpose to go somewhere. On trails there is new scenery new stuff to come across everything is different. Most people think that their horses are lazy but its not that they are lazy, but more that they are unmotivated. To get these horses to want to do more things you have to get to his mind instead of pushing him physically. You can use whips and spurs but it is only a matter of time before they think of new ways to out smart you. Instead of pushing him to do more, ask him to do less this will blow his mind and he will then offer to do more! Think of it this way, while in the arena working, he is thinking "whats in it for me?'' You want to stop while it feels good and then start again. So if you ask for a canter and lets say usually his 4th stride he breaks gait,so ask for 1 or 2 strides then stop. Stop him before he thinks of it cause pretty soon he will be in harmony with you. You have to make it a game and most of all be interesting and provocative! If he gives you a good canter stop and rub him, maybe give him a cookie(not a bribe but more of a bonus) for incentive. There has to be something in it for him for him to put effort into doing it. The most important thing is to not get frustrated cause he will know that and he will know he is winning and do it more.

There should be something that separates the wood from the concrete. The concrete is porous so it such as water up and will rot the wood. If there is nothing separating it, take all the wood out and do it again the right way.

Help with car problem?

My car has been acting weird for over a year now. When I'm idling, it's like it's almost going to die. It'll idle fine, then it will sort of "sputter". That's really the only way I can describe it. Sometime last summer it stalled when I was driving, but that's the only time it did that. Any ideas of why it is doing that?

For the last two years I have gone to a six day (Sunday to Friday) hockey camp. The first day I am fine, but on Monday my stomach starts to really hurt, it feels like there is a giant rock in there and I have explosive diarrhea (sorry to gross you out.) John deere 5425 diesel?

i just changed the fuel filter and pimed entire system and has no air in the fuel but wen i go too start it , it goes into like a low power mode and is only running on 2 cyliders and eventually stalls if throttle is in the idle position so i turned it off and back on a couple times and eventually got it too fire off normal and ran fine for a couple hrs and then i went back out this morning and its doing it again so im a diesel mech , but im stumped on this one and would have too say its electrical thats causeing this but what ??? fuel shut off solenoid maybe bad ?

Tampon's and water....?

i ave had my period for a while and I have been lucky enough that in every situation where i was in the water i wasn't on my period but i am going camping and theres a lake that i always go swimming in. And the duration of the weekend is when i am expecting to get my period. I will try using a tampon (i don't really know what kind) but will i be able to practice while i am not on my period because i don't really want to be practicing in a stall at a camp ground?!

In Missouri, when a child support modification order is signed by a judge as retroactive, how is it credited?

We have been in a long drawn out process of modifying a support order due to extreme pay cut when my husband was laid off. He was paying his ex an amount that was ordered when he made twice his current salary. After almost 2 years, an order was signed by a judge granting the modification, and as retroactive to when the petition was supposed to take affect (but didn't b/c she disputed it, and lost her dispute in the end, we believe it was a stalling technique). Child support enforcement has not received the order yet, but tell us we will have to get the amount she was overpaid for 15 months from her. Is that accurate?? In all divorce and child support cases, the parties are not happy with each other and are probably unwilling to just hand over any money they are not forced to. 1989 mazda mx6 stalls?

It ran perfectly, then all of a sudden it just shut off and wouldn't turn over. It starts up again after a while. I've been starting it every morning just to see and it started perfectly, only now this morning, the engine was knocking, when it first stalled and i tried to start it, a lot of smoke came from the exhaust it was like a black blue mix. blue smoke has been coming from the exhaust a little but only when accelerating and it ran fine anyway, someone told me that means there's a burnt piston ring. if that is the case, would it burning more make the car stall completely? and why did it all of a sudden start knocking?
