Why has the world turn to Auto tune? Children are listening to robotic crap!?

A bunch of kids I know (they're like seven, i help watch over them sometimes) and they start singing Poker Face or California King Bed. Sounds, innocent, right? Yes, but no. The kids aren't doing anything wrong, and neither are their parents. The two songs however, are actually dirty. A line in Poker Face suggests something very disturbing. It talks about two "special places".. And California King Bed, well like her last song, Rihanna has once again wrote about the three letter word. You see what has happened to music? Most of the new "hit" songs now are autotuned garbage talking about parties, love, lust, "dont change youre perfect", and other stuff. And all of these so-called artists are only in for it for the glory and cash. They just go with whatever the public wants, not what they feel inside. Where's the talent, the actual emotion, and the caring? None of these "hottest" artists really have any passion for their fans. Even my closest friends, the ones that I told everything to, are sucked in by the media. I tried to have them expand their genres, but they say 80's rock is "too old" and anything with loud guitars and a little bit of yelling is "death metal". I gave it my best shot, but so far only Sydney understands how much music means to me. I actually enjoy the screams, they give me a rush. Anyway, can anyone explain how this could ever happen? The lack of talent, the reusing of melodies and chord progressions, the dirty and/or useless topics, the emotionlessness? It makes me sad.
